Daniel Lee Mullen, 61, of Henderson, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Dan was born to the late Andrew and Edna Mullen in Evansville, Indiana on March 26, 1960. Dan spent 27 years married to the love of his life, the late Mrs. Karla Littlepage-Mullen. He also was preceded in death by his first-born daughter Miss Erin Jo Mullen. Dan loved his wife and children well. He loved playing cards with friends, bowling and 80’s rock music (especially Queen and the Eagles). He enjoyed Sci-Fi movies, especially Big Biting Pig Productions movies in which he played an extra in multiple films. He also enjoyed a good cabin and sitting around a campfire. Dan worked as a Mining Engineer for Associated Engineers, Inc. for the last 25 years in Madisonville, Kentucky. He is survived by his daughter Mrs. Bailey Mullen Parks, and her husband Mr. Chris Parks of Hendersonville, Tennessee. Dan was blessed with one granddaughter Miss Adeline Karleigh Parks and in May welcoming Miss Charlotte Parks. Dan is also survived by one sister, Patricia Bright; four brothers Dave Mullen, Malcom Mullen (Sherry), Dwain Mullen (Bonnie) and Rick Mullen (Marcia); and one sister-in-law Paula Littlepage. Dan is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial services will be at 12 p.m. (Noon) Saturday March 26, 2022, at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel. Brother Art Christmas will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the charity of your choice. Dan was a regular contributor to many causes throughout his lifetime. The following are just a few organizations that he contributed; The Salvation Army Western KY Disaster Relief, St. Jude’s Research Hospital, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, Shriners Hospitals for Children, PC Pound Puppies and the National Humane Society.
