Danny Eugene Carter

Danny Eugene Carter, 68, of Henderson, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital. He was born in Henderson on June 16, 1952 to Rev. Billy and Betty (Bugg) Carter. He retired from R.C. Cola after 45 years of service and bravely survived cancer. He was a member of the Sons of American Legion Worsham Post #40 and an avid UK Basketball fan. He was a family man and loved all his girls and beloved dog, Patches. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Carter; children, Jennifer Lehman (Steven) of Evansville and Michelle Hope (Scott) of Henderson; three grandchildren, Kelly Battiato (Matthew), Hailee Hope, and Emilee Hope; parents, Rev. Billy and Betty Carter. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 16 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Bro. Bret Eblen officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, March 15 from 4-7 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 16 from 9-11 a.m., both at the funeral home.
