Danny Joe Morton, 60 of Louisville formerly of Henderson passed away June 23, 2015 at his residence. He was born July 23, 1954 in Henderson, KY to Harry T. and Myrtle (Hall) Morton. He was U. S. Air Force Veteran and a member of New Life for Nations Church in Columbia, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Janice Morton. 3 children: Melissa Ann Johnston and her husband Travis of Jeffersonville, IN Michael Morton and his fiancé Alley Sircy of Bowling Green Jonathan Morton and his wife Jade of Nicholasville, KY 2 sisters: Marcia Stinnet and her husband Chris of Henderson Sherry Morton of Atlanta, Georgia 2 grandchildren: Gabriel Johnston Emma Morton Niece: Bethany Witcher Nephew: Andrew Witcher Great nephew: Jacob Witcher Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, June 26, 2015 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Pastors Gerald and Laverne Reliford will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4:00 PM-8:00 PM Thursday and 10:00 AM until service time Friday at the funeral home. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Worsham Post #40 Honor Guard. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hosparus or the Wounded Warrior Project.
