Darla Townsend

Darla Townsend, 57 of Henderson passed away Sunday October 15, 2023, at her home.

Darla was born in Henderson to Cledith and Bettie “Mother” (Duff) Clement. She was a member of Haven Pentecostal Church.

Darla enjoyed fishing and watching true crime documentaries but especially loved and enjoyed being with her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her siblings Wayne Clement and Teresa LaPradd.

Darla is survived by her loving husband who loved her the mostest of 24 years Terry Townsend; children Teresa Bufkin (Ryan), John Parrish (Kirstie) Brandon Townsend and Tyler Townsend; her siblings Kenny Clement (Rita) and Shirley Bills (Larry); her BFF forever Rita Akins (Jason); father Cledith Clement (Sarah); step siblings Jama Wolfe (Jamie), Jennifer Johnson, Dustin Webb, Justin Webb and Brandon Stanley (L’Arael); grandchildren Isaac, Alex, Alana, Keelen, Adalynn, Avree, Kendrix, Baylee, Bryson, Gabe, Rhett, Gemma, Kinsley and Haydn

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday October 18, 2023, at Haven Pentecostal Church with Pastors Joe Michael and Phil Wagoner officiating. A burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM until service time Wednesday October 18, 2023, at the church. .

Pallbearers will be Brandon Stone, Tyler Townsend, Ryan Bufkin, Joshua Kerr, Ethan Gish and Justin Webb.
