Darrel W. Lemon

Darrel W. Lemon, 73, of Henderson passed away Tuesday March 21, 2017 at 12:34 PM at St. Anthony's Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center. He was born in Mulligan, Kentucky on June 1, 1943 to William and Dorothy (Cobb) Lemon. Darrel attended Crossroads Christian Church in Newburgh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 brother Rev. Don Lemon. Survivors include his wife of 47 years Judy Lemon, daughter Annette Brewster and husband Philip, 2 brothers Raymond Lemon, Russell Lemon, 1 sister Wanda Holland all of Henderson, 3 grandchildren Tanner Brewster, Sydney Brewster and Abigail Brewster. Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, March 24, 2017 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Bro. Rick O'Daniel will officiate. Visitation will be Friday 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Carl Buckman, Ralph Kirchoff, Gene Powell, Don Holland and David Lemon. Honorary pallbearer will be Raymond Lemon. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice or Corydon Missionary Baptist Church.
