Darrell Wayne Scott

Darrell Wayne Scott, 66, passed away peacefully on April 16th, 2024, in his home in Sebree, Ky. Darrell was born in Webster County Kentucky on October 9th, 1957, to Junior and Mary Scott.

Darrell’s work tenure included 35 years as a Machinist in the mining industry. He spent his spare time tinkering on vehicles and spending time outside in nature's beauty, he was an avid hunter and he loved to fish. Darrell was an honest and loving person and would do anything for anyone who needed his help. He was a good friend and a great father to his kids and father figure to Andrew who had been in Darrell's life since he was born. Darrell was a loving soul that showed kindness to everyone he met, and he will be deeply missed by every life he touched.

He was proceeded in death by his father, (Junior Scott) and his mother, (Mary Scott); brothers, Steve Scott and Steve McConnell, his daughter, Crystal Scott, and his granddaughter, (Alexus Scott).

He is survived by his brothers, Owen Scott, Mike Scott (Denise), William Scott (Yvonne),  Billy McConnell (Joyce), and Doyle McConnell (Becky);  sisters, Janna Gowler (Ted), Cindy Melton (John), Mary Rakestraw (Randell), Sandra Walker (Bruce);  sons, Christopher Scott (Stephanie), Chad Scott (Francis), and Benjamin Scott (Kelly);  grandchildren, Makayla Mullins, Darius Saulsberry, Zackary Scott, Ayla Scott, Aiden Scott, Kaylen Scott, Abel Scott, Emma Scott and step grandchild, Noah Jenkins.

The memorial will be held at Tomblinson Funeral home in Henderson on Monday, April 22, 2024, from 10 am-2 pm with the service starting at 2 pm.
