David Nathanael Beasley

David Nathanael Beasley 56 of Reed Ky. passed away April 22, 2015 at St. Anthony Lucy King Care Center He was born February 4th 1959 to Emmett and Bessie Sue (Tackett) Beasley late in their life. He was raised in and has lived in the community of Reed Kentucky. David was a 1977 graduate of Henderson County High School. David was married to the LOVE of his life, Ginny, on October 1st 1977 and they have been married 37 years. During the last eight years, she not only had the role of a mom and housewife, but a nurse extraordinaire. They were known for joking about David's medical situation which helped David get through the bad days. David and Ginny have two sons, Nathanael, in Commonwealth Baptist Bible College in Lexington KY and Aaron is still at home. David grew up in a Christian home and received the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of 12. He was a member of Greater Vision Baptist Church in Owensboro KY. He grew up in a farming family, but his passion was trucking. He owned a small trucking company, D.N. Beasley Trucking, from 1977 thru 1991. For the last 23 years he owned Toy Trucks and More, building scale model semi trucks. His passion was collecting 1/64 scale trucks since childhood and he turned his passion into a business. David often commented that his life has been so blessed by doing what he loved. Funeral services will be Saturday April 25, 2015 at 1:00 P.M at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Brother Ken Jones, Pastor Tim Russ, Brother Ed Hembree and Pastor Eddie Calloway will officiate. Vistitation will be Friday April 24, 2015 4-8 and Saturday 10 until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Frank Westerfield, Robert Collier, Jimmy Beasley, Gary Beasley, John Esche and Don Stephens. Honorary Pallbearers will be Moses Johnson, Gerald Burks and Chris Burnett. Expression of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony Hospice (Giving Tree) in memory of David.
