David I. Gibbs

David Ivory Gibbs, of Henderson, KY was born May 18, 1951. He went to be with his Heavenly Father on July 28, 2024 at Henderson Nursing and Rehabilitation.

He is celebrating his new eternal life.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gibbs; beloved son, William David Gibbs (Rose); parents, Elwood and Ivy Gibbs; siblings, Tony Fork, Sharon Stone, Alice Faye Gibbs, Dallas Gibbs, Janie Thacker, and Mike Gibbs.

He is survived by his brother, Donnie Gibbs; caregiver and lifelong friend, Brenda Cook; fur baby, Cody Allen; two daughters-in-law, Michelle Shelton (Heather); grandchildren, Shadalynn, Dakoda, Jeramiah, and Promise; sister-in-law, Deborah Gibbs; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Fairmont Cemetery. Bro. Donnie Gibbs will officiate.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to New Hope Animal Rescue Center located at 526 Atkinson St, Henderson, KY 42420.
