David "Boss Man" Hill, age 59, of Owensboro, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Owensboro to William and Wanda (Daughtery) Hill.
David was the proud owner and operator of D&L Crawlspace Basement Waterproofing where he served the entire Tri-State area over 30 years. Outside of his professional life, David found joy in various activities including fishing, 4-wheeling, car races, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Hill. David is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Lisa (Nunn) Hill, and their children: Crystal Lindsey, Chasity Peckenpaugh, Timothy Hill, and Matt Hill (Lacy). He also leaves behind his sisters: Patti Richmond, Tammy Mosely, Shirley Roach, and Cindy Hill; his mother Wanda Hill as well as 13 grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services to honor and celebrate David's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 18, 2024, at Victory Christian Center, officiated by Bro Jack Ross. Following the service, David will be laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation for friends and loved ones will take place from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the church, and on Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
Honoring David as pallbearers will be Cindy Hill, Matthew Hill, Hunter Lindsey, Kevin Majors, Chasity Peckenpaugh, and Crystal Lindsey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society/ KODA in honor of David's memory.
David "Boss man" Hill will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His legacy of D&L, hard work, and determination will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched.
