David Joseph Hoffman, Sr.

David Joseph Hoffman, Sr, 82, of Henderson passed away June 1, 2021 at Deaconess Gateway. He was born September 6, 1938 in Henderson County, Kentucky to the late Herman and Cleo (Wilkerson) Hoffman.David was a good man and a farmer in Henderson County for several years.  He was an avid fisherman and a hunter.  He played the guitar and loved gardening.  He also loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Alice Hoffman. He is survived by his children: David Hoffman, Jr (Wanda Cahow), Diane (Rod) Shimpa, and Teresa Williams all of Henderson, Kentucky.  Grandchildren: David (Amy) Crowley, Kevin (Melissa) Crowley, Logan (Shea) Nunley, Melissa (Beau) Curry, and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be private. Visitation will be Friday, June 4, 2021 from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Austin Crowley, Dakota Crowley, David Crowley, Kevin Crowley, Logan Nunley, Joe Hoffman, Teresa Williams and Diane Shimpa.
