David Darrell Kitchens

David Darrell Kitchens, 59, of Henderson passed away 1:03 AM Tuesday January 24, 2012 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY. He was born August 1, 1952 in Daviess County Kentucky to Paul and Mary (Franks) Kitchens. He was a US Army veteran. He also loved going to auctions, fishing, and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother Larry Kitchens. He is survived by his wife of 21 years Venita Lynn (Martin) Kitchens of Henderson, 1 son Cliff Kitchens of Henderson, and 1 foster daughter BoDara Hovenstine of Henderson, 1 sister Barbara and husband Ronnie Henderson of Owensboro, KY, 2 brothers Clarence and wife Liz Kitchens of West Louisville, KY, Jerry and wife Mindy Kitchens of Ohio County, Kentucky, 3 nieces, 4 nephews, 2 great nieces, and 3 great nephews. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday January 26, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. By David’s request services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled Veterans Association. By David’s request there should be no flowers sent.
