Deana Yates

July 21, 1953 — March 11, 2024

Deana Yates, 70, of Henderson, Kentucky passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital.

She worked in health care for 45 years, where she dedicated her life to taking care of others. She loved being outside working in the yard. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Dieter; one daughter Lavadia Taylor (Donnie); grandsons Manual and Daniel Nichols; granddaughter Miranda Burton; great-granddaughter Serinity; great-grandson Waylon; sister Connie Gamblin (David); brother Billy Jackson (Kim); two step-brothers Louis Henderson, George Henderson; several nieces and nephews that she adored.

Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel.

Visitation will be Saturday 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Smith Mills Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Manuel Nichols, Daniel Nichols, Will Jackson, Landon Gamblin, Gerald Lawless, Keith Mattingly and Jon Brown.
