Deborah Lynn Phelps 72, gained her angel wings Thursday August 15th at Deaconess Henderson Hospital, after a long battle with Dementia. She was avid reader, she loved to draw, loved to travel, her favorite place to go was Las Vegas and she was a huge Elvis Presley fan.
She was proceeded in death by her father Leo Woodard, one sister, Karen Sutton and one niece Whitney Woodard.
She leaves behind her loving family, mother AnnaMae Woodard, one sister Terri Woodard both of Henderson, one brother Rodney ( Michelle) Woodard, of Louisville, one daughter Lorie (Maxwell) Christensen of Indianapolis, one son Robert Jackson of Henderson and her only beloved granddaughter Shelby Keeling of Louisville. She also left behind nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Her family would like to take a moment to share a special thank you to the wonderful people at RedBanks Nursing Home for their wonderful care and support over these last several years we also want to thank St. Anthony’s Hospice for their wonderful care and a thank you to the team at Deaconess Hospital Henderson for all they did for her.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 19, 2024, 11:00 AM, at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel with Tim Shockley officiating.
Visitation will be on Sunday, August 18, 2025, 2:00 - 6:00 PM and Monday, August 19, 2024 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
