Deena La'Don Bugg

Deena la'Don (Swearer) Bugg, 52, of Spottsville, KY passed away on April 29, 2017 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born on August 31, 1964 in Henderson, KY to Kenneth Wilson and Sue Carol (Christison) Swearer. She worked as a chef at Henderson Country Club for 20 plus years, was a member of Spotsville Baptist Church, a nascar fan, loved to watch lifetime movies, loved doing any outdoor activities, but mainly loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her mother Sue Christison Swearer and husband Billy Martin Basham (2007). She is survived by her father Kenneth Swearer of Spottsville, KY; 3 Children: Samantha Wicker (David) of Spottsville, KY, Shawnee Sutton of Henderson, KY, and Kenneth Sutton of Spottsville, KY; 2 grandchildren: Jaiden Wicker and Isaac Wicker; sister Cindy Pruden (Jack); brother Greg Swearer both of Spottsville, KY; granddog Piper who she was very fond of; nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 3, 2017 at 1:00PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Bro. Paul Davis and Bro. Hal Branson officiating. Pallbearers will be Jack Pruden, Cody Pruden, Elbridge Christison, Dwayne Sutton, Patrick Wicker, and Bruce Mays. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 4:00PM-8:00PM and Wednesday 10:00AM-1:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
