Dennis Joseph Francis Sr.

Dennis Joseph Francis Sr, 78 of Henderson passed away Thursday August 19, 2021, at Henderson Nursing and Rehab under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. He was born in Henshaw Kentucky to the late James P.  and Mary E. (Mattingly) Francis. Dennis worked for Gibbs, Hobgood Home and Garage and was a self-employed contractor building homes and garages. He loved building and remodeling homes, guns, music, fishing, and motorcycling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two children Janie Sauer and Dennis Francis Jr; his companion, Tammy Morphew; a brother, David Francis; sister-in-law Gail Francis and his son-law Jamie Wilson. Dennis is survived by his wife Georgia L. (Piper) Francis; his children Jeff Francis (Michelle Richmond) and Patti Wilson; his siblings, Jimmy Francis, Donald Francis (Cindy Moffett), and Mary Ann Francis; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A Memorial service will be held 12:00 PM Thursday September 2, 2021 at Fairmont Cemetery
