Dennis Michael Majors, Sr.

Dennis Michael Majors, Sr. age 75 got his wings on May 13, 2025.

Born to Ruben (Dick) and Flora (Richmond) Majors on March 2, 1950, at home in Robards, KY.

Dennis served in the Air Force, stationed in Guam in the truck/plane maintenance department during Vietnam. He graduated in 1969 and was the sixth of eight siblings to complete school. He worked 27 ½ at Aeroquip and 7 ½ years at Gibbs as a maintenance mechanic.

He cherished being a grandpa-paw, volunteering at school and with the Scouts, and joining in on whatever was happening at the moment.

Dennis was a member of Bellview Methodist Church in Smith Mills. He was a hobby farmer, through the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Ruby Cornell and Joyce Embry; four brothers, Earl, Donie, Kenny and Greg Majors; one grandson, Justin Majors; two great granddaughters, Elle Anna Majors and Hayden Majors.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 45 years, Norma Majors; four sons, Michael Majors (Jess), Jesse Knight (Tasha), Monty Stone, Dennis Majors, Jr.; two daughters, Cathy Jo McConnell (John) and Katy Black; one sister, Karen Majors (David Powell); 19 grandchildren, Joshua, Mikey, Brandon, Christian, Justin Monty Ray, Cole, Victoria, Zoe, Nate, Ally, Paige, Logen, Leland, James, Caynin, Gracie, Payton and Nolan; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews that he loved very much.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, May 19 at Smith Mills Cemetery with Pastor Steve Hale officiating. Military rites will be conducted by American Legion Worsham Post #40 Burial Detail and Honor Guard.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Nate Lacer, Leland Majors, Caynin Majors, Mikey McCormick, Josh McCormick, Logen Stone, Nolan Black and Christian McConnell.
