Devan Austin Baize

Devan Austin Baize, 24 of Henderson passed away Monday November 19, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 10, 1994 to Richard and Donna (Gatten) Baize. Devan was employed as a Carpenter through the Local 224 Union Hall. He enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing, hunting and ATVS. He liked Chevy trucks and anything fast. Devan was a proud father and loving husband. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Jesse O. and Helen Gatten, Martha Baize; two uncles Wayne Baize and Jesse R. Gatten. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Aley Baize; his children Easton Wayne Baize and Ella Louise Baize; one sister Jenna Chandler-Jerger and her husband Justin; one Grandfather Lucian Baize and Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Services will be Saturday, November 24, 2018, 12:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Trevor Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairmont Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00-7:00 P.M Friday, November 23, 2018 and Saturday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to a Go Fund Me page for his children.
