Dona Missouri Lindsey

Dona Missouri Winslow Lindsey, 97, of Henderson, KY, passed away peacefully at St. Anthony’s Hospice unit of Redbanks Nursing Home on February 18, 2024. She was born in Salem, IN on March 18, 1926 to the late, George E., and Lilly Mae Lyles Winslow. She was a hard worker who loved her family friends, and the members of Hyland Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John “Ab” Lindse; brothers, Ford Winslow, Forrest Winslow, and Wilmer Winslow; sisters, Edna Winslow Early, and Helen Winslow Hall.

Dona is survived by her daughter, Belinda Sutton (Dwight) of Henderson, KY; son, John Lindsey of Henderson, KY; grandchildren, Johanna Berry, Tessa Caccavallo (Pete), Sheena Joyner, Tory Lindsey (Rachel), David McLevain, Melissa Overton (Drew); great grandchildren, Elly, Everly, ElizaJo Berry, Jacob and Piper Caccavallo, Samantha Hopper, Gabe Joyner, Charlotte and James Overton, Oaklynn and Tyler Lindsey.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, February 21, 2024, 2:00 PM EST, at Winslow Cemetery in Washington County, IN. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024, 11:00 AM at Hyland Baptist Church in Henderson.
