Donald "Don" Denton Priest

Donald “Don” Denton Priest, 85, of Henderson, KY passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023, at his home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.

Don was born September 30, 1938, in Detroit, MI, to the late John and Lillie (Trice) Priest. He retired after 38 years from Whirlpool, where he worked as a mill wright. He was a 58 year member of Jerusalem Masonic Lodge #9. One of his lifelong hobbies was talking on the Ham Radio. He enjoyed tinkering in his machine shop and loved boating and camping at KY Lake.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Susie Priest and their daughter, Amy Watkins (Jon) of Henderson, KY; two grandchildren, Seth and Will Watkins; special cousin, Tom Trice of Michigan; son, Donnie Priest, daughters, Sherry Priest and Kim Pryor all of Henderson, KY.

Funeral Services will be Monday, December 4, 2023, 9:30 AM, at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel with Chaplin John Brumfiel officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 3, 2023, 2:00-6:00 PM and Monday, December 4, 8:00 AM until funeral hour.  There will be a Masonic service, 5:00 PM, Sunday, December 3, 2023 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jon Watkins, Seth Watkins, Will Watkins, Bob Butler, and Tom Trice.
