Donald Gene Hogan Sr. Donald Hogan, 73 of Earlington, passed away,Thursday September 27 at 2:42 AM. at Regional Medical Center, Madisonville. He was born October 6, 1938 in Owensboro, Ky. to the late Jesse Franklin Hogan and Gladys Mae Hamilton. He was a oilfield pumper retired from Harken Oil Co. He loved reading and birdwatching. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons Donald Gene Hogan, Jr. and Franklin Hogan, two sisters Vivian Howard and Delores Hatfield two brothers, Jesse Hogan Jr. and John Hogan. He is survived by his wife Joyce “Furn” Glaysbrook Hogan. His mother in law Ovatus Glaysbrook, one son Keith Ford and his wife Teresa of Madisonville,Ky, one daughter Angela Collins and her husband Mike of Madisonville, Ky. Four grandchildren Ashley Goodman and her husband Drew, Sara Lynn Ford, John Collins and Ryan Collins. Three sisters, Wanda Parker of Seguin, Texas, Frances Eades of Calhoun, Ky.. and Gloria Bruce of Henderson, Ky. Two brothers Guy Hogan of Henderson and Herbert Hogan of San Diego, California. And many Nieces and Nephews. Funeral service will be at Reid-Walters Funeral Home Sunday, Sept. 30 at 2:00 PM with Brother Gary Ashby officiating. Burial in Old Salem Cemetery, Mortons Gap, Ky. Pallbears will be: Drew Goodman, Jerald Glaysbrook, Heath Hatfield, Zane Barron, Keith Ford and Mike Collins. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sat. September 29 and from 10:00 AM until service time.
