Donald "Bubba" Jones

Donald "Bubba" Jones, 60, of Sebree, Kentucky, passed away on December 10, 2024.

Bubba was born in Henderson, Kentucky, to the late Donald L. Jones I and Darrell Sue Jones (Shelton) Ballard. A 1982 graduate of Webster County High School, Bubba began his career in logging alongside his father.

A lifelong servant of his community, Bubba was a member of Mt. Lebanon General Baptist Church, where his faith guided his dedication to helping others. He proudly served with the Sebree Fire Department, Webster County and Henderson County EMS, and as a deputy sheriff before retiring as the sheriff of Webster County.

Bubba’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Brandon Jones.

Bubba is survived by his loving daughter, Kirstie Parker (Devin); siblings, Jason Jones (Ashley), Shannon Wallace (Rick), Pamela Jones, and Peggy Jones; grandchildren, Hayden, Addison and Caleb and his special friend and the mother of his daughter, Jenny Jones.

Visitation will take place on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree.
