Donna Liggett Cowan

Donna (Liggett) Cowan. 69 of Sebree, KY passed away Sunday September 1, 2024 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.

She was born in Owensboro, KY on April 11, 1955 to the late Edward William “Red” and Inez Jacqueline (Nickell) Liggett.

Donna was a member of the Sebree First Baptist Church. She was retired from the State of KY Environmental Cabinet. She was very involved with her family, loved decorating for holidays, crafts, reading and gardening.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Liggett and a nephew Kevin Gentry.

Donna is survived by her husband, Bryon Cowan

Daughter; Chaunda (Dean) McCully of Sebree, KY

Son; Trenton Cowan of Sebree, KY

Granddaughter; Emma McCully (Fiance Drew Jackson) of Sebree, KY

Brothers and sisters; Kenny “Rock” (Nancy) Liggett of Zion, KY,  Susie Davis of Henderson, KY, Jeff Liggett of Sebree, KY

and Leesa Liggett of Sebree, KY

Beloved Nieces and nephews also survive.

Services will be held on Saturday September 7th at 2:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel.

Bro Bob Hardison will officiate. Bro Dylan Zahn will conduct committal services at the cemetery.

Burial will be in Onton Cemetery in Onton, KY.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sebree 1st Baptist Church or St. Anthony’s Hospice.
