Doris Kay “Dottie” (Madison) Morehead, 61 of Newburgh, IN formerly of Slaughters, KY passed away Monday at Deaconess Gateway Medical Center in Evansville, IN. She was born February 4, 1950 in Madisonville, KY to the late Gene and Elizabeth Pauline (Stewart) Madison. She was retired from General Electric Aircraft Engine Group in Madisonville and was a member of New Salem United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers; She is survived by 2 children; Glynn Morehead and wife Penny of Slaughters, KY Michelle Walker and husband Reeson of Slaughters, KY 4 Grandchildren; Tammy Johnson, Joel and Jarrod Eubank and Allison Clark 3 Great Grandchildren 2 brothers; Larry Madison of Tennyson , IN Paul Madison of Evansville, IN 2 Sisters; Vada Clayton of Madisonville,KY Peggy Lancaster of Evansville, IN Nieces and Nephews Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday October 30, 2011 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel. Pastor Marty Robertson will officiate. Burial will be in Onton Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 until 8:00 and Sunday from 12:00 until service time at the funeral home.
