Dorothy Regina Gregory

Dorothy Regina Gregory, age 95, of Henderson, peacefully passed away on June 19, 2024, at her residence.

Dorothy was born in Henderson County to the late Howard and Lorene (Cottingham) McClure. She was a cherished member of the community and held a steadfast faith as a member of First Baptist Church in Henderson.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert C. Gregory, her daughter Sharon Elizabeth Gregory, and her sister Melba Cates.

Left to cherish her memory are her devoted children: Gary Gregory (April), Brent Gregory, and Paul Gregory; as well as 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.

Funeral services to honor Dorothy's life will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, June 24, 2024, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Rev. Sam Hinkson will officiate the service, with burial to follow in Fairmont Cemetery. Prior to the service, visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Dorothy will be remembered fondly by all who knew her for her kindness, her love of family, and her unwavering faith. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
