Dorothy Nell Horn

Dorothy Nell Horn, 81 of Spottsville passed away at 1:10 PM June 26, 2010 at the Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson. Her family moved to Spottsville, KY in 1935 where she grew up, attended school and graduated from Spottsville High School. She married Bennie Horn in 1947 and they had two sons. She retired from Gamco in 1991. She was a life time member of the Spottsville Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Oscar H. Baker and Ruby L. Baker, her estranged husband Bennie E. Horn, and her grandson, Josh James. Survived by two sons, Jesse O. (Joe) Horn and wife Deborah of Henderson, David E. Horn of Spottsville, brother Ray Baker and wife Patsy of Henderson, sister Virginia (Tootsie) Walker of Arlington, SD, grandchildren Jessica Lynn, Roxanne Damberose and Stevie Horn. Service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday June 30 at Spottsville Baptist Church in Spottsville. Bro. Jeff Shouse will officiate. Visitation will be 10:00 AM-1:00 PM at Spottsivlle Baptist Church. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY Expressions of sympathy may take to form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice or Spottsville Baptist Church.
