Dorothy Jean Majors

Dorothy Jean (McCormick) Majors, 78, of Sebree, passed away Thursday January 6, 2022 at Redbanks Nursing Home in Henderson. She was born in Sullivan, Kentucky on October 27, 1943 to the late John and Elma (Floyd) McCormick. Dorothy was a member of Sebree Pentecostal Church and enjoyed quilting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter Echo Blue Newman. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Lloyd Majors; 4 children Brian Majors (Cliff Hardin) of Rockport, IN, Kimberly Freeman (Billy) of Tamms, IL, Karen Martin (Derek) and Alan Majors all of Sebree; 2 sisters Carolyn Pike (Paul) of Uniontown, Teresa Brown of Sebree; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be 11:00 AM Monday January 10, 2022 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel with Rev. Billy Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 2-6PM and Monday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
