Dorothy “Memaw” (Grasty) Barron, 85 of Henderson, KY passed away at her home at 10:20 AM Tuesday May 27, 2014 under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. She was born in Henderson, KY on October 16, 1928 to the late Myrle Edward and Louise (Pruitt) Grasty. She was retired from Service Tool. She was also a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Henderson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother; Myrle “Bud” Grasty. She is survived by her husband of 66 years Thomas Barron 3 children; Sharron Enlow and her husband Ron of Henderson, KY David Barron and his wife Mary Sue of Henderson, KY Ron Barron, Sr. and Jeri Wells of Georgetown, KY 3 Sisters; Martha Reynolds Peggy Pruitt Debbie Hagan All of Henderson, KY Grandchildren: Kevin Enlow, Kenny Enlow, Timmy Enlow, Ron Barron, Jr., Michael Hobgood, Damon Cheatman, Jennifer Hobgood, Katie Barron, Lori Barron And Brittney Barron 4 Great grandchildren: Perry Enlow, Landon Enlow, Drew Enlow and Cassie Hobgood. Services will be held 12:00 PM Friday at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Father Larry McBride will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4:00 PM-8:00 PM Thursday and 9:00 AM-11:00 AM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
