Dorothy Mae (Duckworth) Snider, 80 of Henderson, KY passed away at 8:55 AM Saturday December 25, 2010 at her home. She was born in Henderson County, KY on May 11, 1930 to the late Enoch and Flora (McBride) Duckworth. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Henderson. She has worked at Gibbs Die Casting in Henderson and was a KY Colonel In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 4 brothers. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Carl Edward Snider. One Daughter; Carrie Ann and husband David Sayles of Henderson, KY Two Sons; Paul Edward Snider of Henderson, KY Tony Snider of Henderson, KY Brother; Dorris Duckworth of Henderson, KY 7 Grandchildren 10 Great Grandchildren A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday December 29, 2010 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Henderson, KY Father J. Edward Bradley will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery in Henderson, KY Visitation will be held Tuesday December 28th from 4:00 until 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Billy Caton, Bobby Stevenson, Ralph Snider, Barry Burton, Carl Wayne Snider, Paul Taylor Snider, Jacob Allen Snider, and Scott Givens. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Anthony's Hospice or Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church Building Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
