Dorris McKee Berrong 87 Cairo, KY passed away Saturday June 30, 2012 at 8:04 AM in St. Anthony’s Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson. She was born March 5, 1925 in Muhlenburg County, KY to the late William Chester and Frances (Annes) McKee. She was of the Baptist Faith, enjoyed traveling, camping, gardening and reading. She was also a 20 + year member of the Cairo Auxillary Fire Department. She was retired from Gibbs Die Casting. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son; Darrell Berrong , brother; William “Billy” McKee and a sister; Barbara Adams. She is survived by her husband of 67 years; Leo Berrong of Cairo, KY Son; Duane and wife Jane Berrong of Cairo, KY Daughter; Marilyn and husband Steve Schwallier of Henderson, KY 8 Grandchilden; Kevin Schwallier, Chris Berrong, Misty Herren, Jason Berrong, Amy Bassett, Carrie Burnette, Stephanie Berrong and Sandy Schwallier 12 Great Grandchildren Services will be held Monday July 2, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Rev. Hollis Marshall will officiate. Entombment will be in Fairmont Mausoleum. Visitation will be Sunday 5:00 until 8:00 and Monday 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jason Berrong, Chris Berrong, Kevin Schwallier, Lanny McKee, John Berrong and Larry Berrong. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
