Douglas Butler

Douglas Ray Butler, 76, of Henderson, KY went to meet the Lord on Saturday, October 10, 2020. Doug was a Christian by faith, as well as a loved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to all he met. Doug loved rabbit hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Butler and mother, Mary Gregory Butler. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Glenda Spencer Butler; two daughters, Christie Dowell (Anthony) of Henderson, Kim Heflin (John) of Lexington, KY; three granddaughters, Sarah Dowell Vose, Kelly Heflin, Amy Heflin; two great grandchildren, Shiloh and Jedidiah Vose; two brothers, Larry Butler (Marcheta) and David Butler (Kathy) of Henderson and nieces, nephews and many cousins. A memorial service will be held at a later date.Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel is entrusted with arrangements. In memory of Doug, contributions can be made to Lucy Smith King Care Center, Henderson Diabetic Coalition, or Victory Baptist Church.
