Dwight M. Simpson

Dwight M. Simpson, 87 of Sebree, KY passed away at 7:40 PM Sunday April 7, 2013 at Western KY Veterans Center in Hanson. He was born January 1, 1926 in Webster County to the late Eural Ainsley and Velma May (Carlisle) Simpson. He was a member of Sebree United Methodist Church, a Korean Army Veteran, and retired from Texas Gas. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Blondell (Stull) Simpson (2007), a brother Emerson Simpson, and a sister Virginia Eirich. He is survived by 2 sons: Stan and his wife Michelle Simpson of Simpsonville, SC and Jim and his wifeJill Simpson of Onton, KY; 1 daughter Charlene and her husband Steven Beck of LaVergne, TN; and 1 sister Queenie Edwards of Henderson, KY. 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and 7 nieces and nephews. Services will be 11:00 AM Friday April 12, 2013 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel in Sebree with Pastor James Shuck officiating. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 PM Thursday April 11 and 9:00-11:00 AM Friday April 12 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Josh Steele, John Rose, Steve Beck, Bill Yancy, Robert Dame, Dwight Hensley, Dennis Hensley, and Greg Edwards.
