Edith Carnal

Edith Fox Carnal aage 90 of Madisonville, KY formerly of Earlington, Ky passed away at 2:45 AM Wednesday December 15, 2010 at Brighton Cornerstone Healthcare in Madisonville, KY. She was born September 3, 1920 in Christian County, KY to Escar and Ollie Marquess Fox. She was a homemaker and in the 1950's was the Avon representative in Earlington, KY. She was a seventy year member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Earlington, KY where she served as a Deaconess, a member of the Crusaders Sunday school class and a teacher of the United Women's Sunday School class. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lester Carnal in 1980, three sisters: Irene Adams, mattie Evelyn Fox, margaret Louise Fox and one brother Harold Fox. She is survived by her son: Dennis J. Carnal of Madisonville, KY, one brother Herman Fox and his wife Kathryn of Madisonville, two Sister-in-laws Evelyn carnal of Earlington, KY, Mary Jean Fox of White Plains, KY and several nieces and nephews. Thre will be a memorial service held at 2:00 PM Sunday December 19, 2010 at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Earlington, KY officiated by Mr. Lairy Nofsinger and Bro. Kim Hudson. Her burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Earlington, KY by her husband of thirty-three years. Her visitation will be from 1:00 PM-until service time at the church.
