Edith Rhey Marks

Edith Rhey Marks, 88, of Henderson passed away on April 18, 2017 at Good Samaritan Health Care in Evansville, IN. She was born on December 31, 1928 in Providence, KY to Ernest and Marlowe (Wilson) Harkins. Edith was a homemaker and was of the General Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John Wade Marks, and sister Wanda Mae Gibson. She is survived by her son John M. and wife Pamela C. Marks of Lawrenceburg, KY; daughter Julie Kinder and husband Danny; 3 grandsons: Chandler Marks of Artesia, CA, Walker Marks of Lawrenceburg, KY, and Jason Michael Kinder and wife Jenny of Lexington, KY; and 2 great grandchildren: Sawyer and Spencer Kinder. Funeral service will be held at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree on Monday April 24, 2017 at 10:00AM. Visitation will be held on Sunday 2:00PM-6:00PM and Monday 9:00AM-service time at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
