Edith Mae Tapp

Edith Mae (Floyd) Tapp, 80 of Henderson, KY passed away Thursday October 27, 2011 at 6:09 PM at Methodist Hospital in Henderson. She was a member of Victory Christian Center in Henderson, KY and a retired grounds keeper heving maintained numerous cemeteries in western Kentucky with her husband Marcus for many years. She was born in Webster County, KY on December 31, 1930 to the late Bessie Lee Floyd. In addition to her Mother she was prededed in death by her husband, Marcus Junior Tapp, brother Curt harmon and a sister Joyce Lorenze. . She is survived by a daughter; Shiela Gish of Henderson, KY 2 sons; Dennis Tapp of Henderson, KY Mark Tapp of Tilden, KY Sister; Glenda Podgorski of Mission, TX Brother; Donald Harmon of Henderson, KY 11 Grandchildren 17 Great Grandchildren Nieces and nephews Services will be held Monday October 31, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Pastor Jack Ross will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 until 8:00 and Monday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
