Edna (Crawford) Blackston, 79, of Henderson, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville.
She was born in Cuba, MO on February 23, 1943 to the late James E. and Margaret (Rice) Crawford.
Edna worked as a shift leader for Aeroquip for many years and volunteered at New Hope Animal Rescue. She loved watching westerns and loved family, especially her role as a grandmother and great grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Evon Hanner, Eddie Crawford, Jim Hanner, and Frank "Jody" Hanner and Harold Wayne Hanner.
Survivors include four children, Ronda Todd (Ronnie), Tammy Blackston-Jackson, James Daniel “Danny” Blackston, and Paula Blackston Hawkins, all of Henderson; seven grandchildren, Jayma Gilbert (Antonio), Tara Blackston, Shanon Coccari (Trevor), Brad Blackston, Drew Blackston (Savannah), Kayla Todd (Alex), and Samantha Hawkins; 14 great grandchildren; siblings, Marlene Harris (Roger) of Spottsville and Mary Stone of Henderson; 1 step granddaughter and 1 step grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be 6:00 P.M Tuesday November 1, 2022, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Brother Greg Lindsey officiating.
Visitation will be 1:00 P.M Tuesday until service time at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to New Hope Animal Rescue.
