Edward R. Baker, 96, of Henderson, KY passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at his home under the care of his wife of 15 years, Tonya K. Baker. He was born in Henderson, KY on Friday, February 9, 1923 to the late Ronald Baker and Verbal McNary.  Mr. Baker was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Word War II.  He retired from Chrysler after 31 years.  He loved spending time with family and friends.  He also enjoyed sitting around with good company telling good stories. He was preceded in death by both parents and one son, Edward C. Baker. Mr. Baker is survived by his wife, Tonya K. Baker; daughters, Deloris Wilson, Connie Harves; son, Hugh Baker; three stepchildren; sisters, Margaret Chambers, Alfreda Ethridge; brothers, Warren Baker, Sr., Donald Baker and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 7, 2019, 2:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel with Military Honors.  Rev. Anthony Brooks, Sr. will officiate the services.  Visitation will be Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
