Edward Lee Majors

Edward Lee Majors, 66 of Sebree, Ky passed away Sunday Morning January 11, 2009 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born November 18, 1942 in Sebree, Ky to the late Smith Majors Sr. and Pearl (Matthews) Majors. He was an Army Veteran and Member of the Austin Collins American Legion Post 243 in Sebree. He had worked at Powell Lumber Company in Sebree. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister; Agnes Hawkins and a brother Finis Majors. He is survived by his caregiver; Thelma Lee Springfield of Sebree, KY Sister; Diana Majors of Sebree, KY 2 brothers; Smith “Junior” Majors of Sebree, KY Lloyd Majors of Sebree, KY Several Nieces and Nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday January 13, 2009 at the Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Bro. Bob Hardison will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree with full military rites. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 and Tuesday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
