Edward Lee Mauk Edward Lee Mauk age 83 of Paducah, KY formerly of Madisonville, KY passed away at 4:50 a.m. Saturday 02-05-11 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah,KY. He was born February 23, 1927 in Louisville, KY to James L. and Effie Prowse Mauk. He served in the Army during the Korean War and he worked as a coal miner and last worked at the Zeigler Coal Mine. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Ada Ruth Slaton Mauk in 1999. He is survived by three sons Edward A. Mauk and his wife Barbara of Topeka, KS; Clyde M.Mauk and his wife Sunni of Paducah, KY and Mark Mauk of Hanson, KY, three grandsons Joseph Mauk of Topeka, KS, Brandon Mauk of Madisonville, KY, and Jarrett Mauk of Paducah, KY. His funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday 02-08-11 at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Bro. George Brooks officiating. His burial will be in Concord Cemetery in White Plains, KY. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday 02-05-11 and from 9:00 a.m. until the service time on Tuesday. Memorial contribution may be made to the American Heart Association.
