Elaine Ashley Fister

Elaine Ashley Fister, 67 of Sebree, KY passed away Sunday November 7, 2021 at her home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. She was born in Henderson, KY on May 1, 1954 to Dorothy (Forker) Ashley and the late James Arthur Ashley. Elaine was a member of Sebree General Baptist Church and Sebree First Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker, wonderful wife, mother and grandmother whose grandchildren were very special to her.  She was a great cook, loved decorating and gardening and was a big Atlanta Braves fan. She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Fister, mother; Dorothy (Forker) Ashley of Sebree, KY, 2 daughters; Jama (Monte) Davenport and Jessica Fister both of Sebree, KY, 2 sisters; Libby Ashley and Tina (Jimmy) Powell both of Sebree, KY, 5 grandchildren; Ryan, Reid and Matthew Davenport, Nicholas and Sophie Kennett, niece and nephews; Amanda Powell Davis, Marcus Powell, Bryan Fister and Stevie Fister. Services will be held on Friday Nov. 12th at 11:00 am at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree with Bro. David Bumpus and Bro. Dylan Zahn officiating. Burial will be in Petersburg Cemetery near Sebree. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 until 7:00 and Friday 9:00 am until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ryan Davenport, Reid Davenport, Nicholas Kennett, Stan Fister, Jacob Jobe, Monte Davenport, Jimmy Powell and Jeremy Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Sophie Kennett, Matthew Davenport, Greg Gates, Marcus Powell, Shepard Powell, Marsh Powell, Anna Leigh Davis, Bryan Fister and Stevie Fister. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
