Eli Evitts, Jr.

Eli Evitts,Jr., 69 of Madisonville died Thursday, November 19, at Baptist Health in Madisonville. He had formerly worked at York as a tool and die maker. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran and a huge fan of UK Basketball. He also had a love for children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eli and Lena (Brown) Evitts, several brothers and sisters and a daughter, Sandy Evitts. He is survived by a daughter Missie (David) Martin of Madisonville and a son Kevin Evitts of Nebo and one grandson, Will Martin. He also had a brother, Rodger Evitts of Nebo, KY. Eli had several very close friends and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be Monday ,Nov. 23 at 1:00PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel in Slaughters. Visitation will be Monday from 11 AM until the funeral. Burial will be at Piney Grove Cemetery in Dawson Springs, KY with full military rites by Hopkins County Honor Gurard.
