Elizabeth Louise “Betty” Pritchett, 87, of Henderson, KY passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 at home. She was a 1953 graduate of Holy Name of Jesus High School and a lifelong member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Betty spent her working years as a legal secretary and bookkeeper. Betty was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a treasured Aunt Boo who loved her many nieces and nephews like her own children. Cooking was Betty’s love language. She liked trying new recipes and excelled at cooking, especially chicken and dumplings, everyone’s favorite. She enjoyed adventures with the grandkids, a fun card game, some good water, and spending time with family and friends at the lake. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Stonewall Jackson and Mary Goldie Brown; siblings, Herman Brown, Dorothy Wathen, Mary Catherine Crawford, Virginia Davidson, and Fred Brown; and granddaughter, Kacie Brooke Pritchett. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert “Myrt” Pritchett; children, Robert “Tim” Pritchett (Anita) of Evansville, IN; Steve Pritchett of Kuttawa, KY; Leigh Ann Vowels (Ben) of Henderson; and Mary Beth Lyons (Robert) of Murray, KY; 11 grandchildren, Jake Pritchett, Ericka Hatfield, Alan Pritchett, Trent Lyons, Kristen Lyons, Jared Stone, Jason Vowels, Melay Nichols, Jamie Purcell, Alicia Carter, and Austin Vowels; 19 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Cleo Brown; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at noon on Friday, May 13 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Larry McBride officiating. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery. Visitation will be at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson on Thursday, May 12 from 3-7 p.m. and on Friday, May 13 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
