Elizabeth Ann Shelton

Elizabeth Ann “Tib” (Skaggs) Shelton, 75 of Henderson passed away Friday September 18, 1939 at Deaconess Main Campus. She was born in Henderson on September 24, 1939 to George Alvis Sr. and Cynthia Mable (Howton) Skaggs. She worked at International Tables for over 40 years as a secretary and was a member of Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband L.C. Ike Shelton, 2 sisters Aleene Nelson and Sue Skaggs, 5 brothers: Alvis, James, Alvin, Ray and Roy Allen Skaggs. Survivors include Step-children 1 sister: Martha "Marty" Brown of Henderson David Skaggs of Henderson Nieces and Nephews Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday September 22, 2015 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Dr. Doug Blair will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 4-8PM and Tuesday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jerry Howton, Steve McLaughlin, Jake McLaughlin, Jerry Goben, John Thompkins and Wynn Stone. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Presbyterian Church or St. Anthony’s Hospice.
