Ella Mae Fulkerson

Ella Mae Fulkerson, 94, of Henderson passed away on April 26, 2017 at her home. She was born on November 3, 1922 to James Ivy and Pauline (Killman) Stanley in Henderson County. Ella Mae was a member of Hyland Baptist Church. In her active years, she attended Geneva Baptist where she worshipped with her family. Most recently, she attended DuPey Baptist Church. She walked with the lord daily, prayed for her family and friends, and was a devoted pastor's wife of 38 years willing to work outside the home while he went to seminary school. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Brother Dorris Fulkerson of 50 years; 2 brothers: George (Jack) Stanley and Rev. James I. Stanley, Jr.; and 1 sister Louise White. She is survived by 1 son D.T. Fulkerson (Joyce) of Henderson; 1 daughter Polly Hesley (Richard) of Henderson; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 9 great great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Monday May 1, 2017 at 1:00PM with Bro. D.T. Fulkerson and Bro. Jeff Hesley officiating at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday 11:00AM to service time. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
