Ella Kathryn Vaughn

Ella Kathryn Vaughn, 92, of Henderson, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Henderson Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Little Dixie, KY on April 24, 1928 to the late Peter B. and Susie (Sutton) Grisham.She was a retired supervisor from Escalade Sports, formerly Indian Industries and was a member of Henderson General Baptist. She enjoyed crafting and babysitting and loved canning and country music. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, one daughter, Debrah Vaughn, and three grandchildren, Monica Vaughn, Gregory Moore, and Lisa Lefler. She is survived by five children, William Gary Vaughn, Sr. of Henderson, Karen Sue Dorris (Daniel) of Evansville, Wendell Vaughn (Laura) of Reed, Anita Rose Moore of Henderson, and Thomas N. Vaughn of Henderson; 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at noon on Wednesday, March 31 at Tomblinson Funeral Home with Dennis Mayfield officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Evansville, IN. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 31 from 9:30 a.m. until noon at the funeral home.
