Ellis (Gus) Boucherie

Ellis (Gus) Boucherie, 91 of Henderson passed away December 30, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital.

Ellis was born in Damsite Mo. to the late J.W. and Irene (Summerton) Boucherie on February 7, 1931.

He was a farmer, 32 Degree mason and a Korean U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed fishing and wood working.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Shirley Ann (Williams) Boucherie and his brothers Bill, Harvey, Jim, and Johnny Boucherie.

Ellis is survived by his children Johnny Boucherie (Martha), Gary Boucherie (Nancy), Mark Boucherie (Jackie) and Brad Boucherie (Tina); his grandchildren Dedra Griffin (Cliff), Karen Landon (George), Kristen Duckworth (Andy), Djinni Boucherie, Brandy Boucherie (Charles Pullum), Cindy Hughes (Chad), , John Michael Boucherie and Kenneth Ellis Boucherie (Renee) and his great grandchildren Emma, Memphis, and Christian Mayes, George, Mark and William Landon, Hadley and Hannah Duckworth, Anastasia and Gavin Boucherie, Olivia and Claira Bell, Violet Pullum, Connor Hughes, Blake , Natalie and Jase Boucherie and his brother Lloyd Boucherie.

Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday January 4, 2023, at Enfield Village Cemetery in Enfield IL.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM Wednesday January 4, 2023, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson.
