Elmo Chinn, 82 of Henderson passed away 7:05 AM June 2, 2014 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born January 2, 1932 in Henderson to Edgar and Dixie (Dame) Chinn. He was a truck driver for Oil Rigs in West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Grace Chinn (2012), daughter Elizabeth Diane Courtney (2012) He is survived by three children: Linda Meuth and her husband Roger of Henderson Donna Hancock and her husband John of Henderson Scott Chinn and his wife Cheryl of Ripley, West Virginia 6 step children: Barb, Rick and George of Mousie, KY Trish and Peggy of Florida Genny of Winchester, KY 2 sisters: Elizabeth Johnson Lela Bell Stewart both of Henderson 5 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren Several nieces and nephews Services will be 11:00 AM Monday June 9, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Pastor Ken Burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 PM-6:00 PM Sunday June 8 and 9:00 AM until service time Monday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
