Elton Ray Phillips Elton Ray Phillips age 72 of Madisonville passed away at 6:25 a.m. Thursday 05-24-12 at the Western Kentucky Veterans Center in Hanson. He was born in Hopkins County KY, on May 19, 1940 to the late Hosie and Mary (Pharris) Phillips. He was a security guard. He was a US Army Veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Joetta Phillips. He is survived by one daughter Christial Bagwell, one son Joe Phillips, two sisters Faye Jenkins and Anita Slaton and one brother Raymond Phillips. There will be a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday 06-02-12 at Souls Harbor Church in Madisonville. Visitation Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the service time at the church. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Madisonville. Arrangements by Reid-Walters Funeral Home.
