Elzie Hailman

Elzie Hailman, 93, of Henderson passed away Wednesday July 31, 2013 at 12:25 AM at Redbanks Nursing Home. He was born in Union County to Pascal and Mamie (Liggett) Hailman on June 29, 1920. Elzie was retired from Jasper-American Furniture Company. He was a member of Cedar Grove Church in Tildon. He was also a Kentucky Colonel and an avid hunter and gardener. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers: James Hailman and Lester Hailman and 1 sister: Lizzie Powell. He is survived by a sister: Vicki Stone and husband Smokey of Robards Sister-in-law: Jen Hailman of Poole Nieces: Jenny King and Amanda Hobbs Nephew: Howie McCormick and wife Jennifer And several other nieces and nephews Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday August 3, 2013 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Bro. Rick O’Daniel will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole. Visitation will be Friday 4-8PM and Saturday Noon until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Howie McCormick III, Smokey Stone, Roger Stone,Pate McCormick and Braeden Hobbs, Paul Dyer, Jim Varble,Ronnie House and Buzz Fredrick. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Anthony's Hospice.
