Emily Bree Gibbs

Emily (Rushing) Gibbs, 46, of Henderson passed away Tuesday July 9, 2019 at Methodist Hospital. She was born in Henderson on November 29, 1972 to Kenneth and Deanne Short.Emily worked at Barnes and Noble and was a member of Poole Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Phil Gibbs, father Kenny Short and great-grandmother Rheanell Stone. Survivors include her mother Deanna Short of Robards and son Issac Gibbs of Henderson. Memorial services will be Saturday July 13, 2019, 2:00 PM at Poole Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor David Mabrey officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, 12:00 PM until service time at the church. Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson is handling arrangements.
