Erma Sue (Hicks) Dickerson

Erma Sue (Hicks) Dickerson, 72 of Earlington, KY and formerly of Onton, KY passed away at 6:50 Am Saturday August 25, 2012 at her home. She was born in Earlington, KY on January 29, 1940 to the late Thomas W. and Erma Lorene (Wyatt) Hicks. Sue worked as a secretary at Ohio Valley National Bank in Henderson for 22 years and at Charloais Coal Company for 6 years before moving to Florida where she had worked for Foliage Design Company. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Norman E. Dickerson, Sr in 1985. She was also preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law Alton and Lena Dickerson. Sue is survived by her daughter; Lisa and her husband Dave Bruce of Earlington, KY Son; Chip and his fiancé Heidi Dickerson of Port St. Lucie, FL Grandchildren; Jamie Bruce, Amber Dickerson, Brittany Dickerson, Madison Bruce and Matthew Dickerson Sister; Jackie and her husband Billy Huddleston of Earlington, KY Brother; Thomas “Mickey” and his wife Joanne Hicks of Waterloo, NY Nieces and nephews also survive. Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday August 30, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Burial will be in Onton Cemetery in Onton, KY Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 until 7:00 and Thursday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Roger Tyson, Randy Bruce, Tommy Hicks, Richard Rickard and David Griffin.
